The Center is a residential trade school and our students will be working on attaining their High School Diploma and their trade skills.
Students are generally between 17-24 years of age.
SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION:
Must have excellent time management skills.
Ensure that schedules are maintaining and documentation is being collected.
Stays in constant communication with CTT and Academic Managers.
SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION:
Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
Prepares student class schedules, maintaining class size by published guidelines.
Gathers attendance data from instructors for each class/training period and posts to student and class records.
Communicates individual and summary attendance information to appropriate Center staff members and departments.
Coordinates with Career Development, CTT, and Academics Manager, schedules students, and administers tests as appropriate (TABE, GED Practice Tests, CTT Competency Tests, etc.
) Maintains sufficient supplies of testing instruments and results.
Administers interim and exit tests as appropriate.
Scores test and discusses results with Instructors and students as appropriate.
Ensures delivery of test tickets and testing rosters to the Records Department for inclusion in the personnel folder.
Ensures accuracy of TABE Testing and CIS data.
Ensures that students are tested promptly.
Maintains student discipline and accountability in the testing area.
Prepares and distributes accurate student master schedules and corresponding reports.
Maintains class ratios by DOL and company guidelines.
Coordinates student accountability and attendance data information.
Works as a member of the Center Education Team in developing the employability of students.
Controls the use of classroom equipment and supplies.
Mentors, monitors, and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.

Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and 2 years general clerical experience or clerical training certificate.
Prefer one to two years previous experience working with youth.
Functional computer skills and literacy are required.
